‘My Blog from Basel’ by Stephen Welfare

Another trade show, another City but not the same thing. On Wednesday, 30th March I attended the Watch and Jewellery Show, BaselWorld, Switzerland. As a first time visitor I was impressed at the size of the stands compared to what I am used to seeing at Spring Fair and IJL. Two storey constructions were the norm amongst the watch companies with Rolex the pick of the bunch – marble walls and staircases no less! Continue reading
