Landlord and Tenant
Our team of lawyers is experienced in dealing with all aspects of Landlord and Tenant law.
We recommend getting involved at the outset of a transaction when the terms are being finalised as our input at this early stage can save a significant amount of time in not having to negotiate key issues subsequently.
We are used to negotiating and agreeing all forms of landlord and tenant documentation from institutional leases to short licence agreements. We also advise on all associated leasehold documentation such as licences and security documentation.
We have an experience Property Litigation team with whom we work closely and as a result we can help when problems arise whether it is a tenant’s breach or advising on what remedies may be available to a landlord and we can help you reach a commercial resolution in a quick and cost effective manner.
We have substantial experience of dealing with renewal tenancies of business premises and work closely with our Property Litigation team to ensure that all deadlines are adhered to.
The law in this area is both complex and constantly changing and as a result of our experience and expertise we are aware of and conversant with current issues affecting both landlords and tenants. We ensure that our clients’ interests are appropriately covered within the commercial context of each particular transaction.
