As you will see from our values – our people are really important to us. And we know that they mean everything to our clients.
A law firm is only as good as its people and so we take great care to recruit, develop and retain the very best people – both for front line legal roles and for back office support. With over 40 lawyers and around 15 business support people we are a tightly knit team who enjoy working together.
Unlike some firms, our younger lawyers are an integral part of what we are and what we do – as well as being a crucial element in the delivery of our legal service they also play an active role in developing our client and community relationships. They are given early responsibility – and they always rise to the challenge.
And whilst we all work hard, we are keen to promote a healthy work-life balance. We believe that being a good lawyer means more than excellent legal knowledge and skills, commercial acumen and great communication skills – they need to be happy and healthy too.
As well as taking on a number of trainees each year, we are proud that some of our solicitors had different careers before entering the legal profession – so we have those with former careers in commercial photography, the racing industry and the BBC amongst us.
